The name's Otter B. Goode and I'm your guide to the family fun to be found at Otter Creek Campground!
Hey, kids - click here or on any picture of me for a special coloring page!
Your family deserves a little peace and quiet while enjoying their camping vacation. Located on the serene western bank of the Susquehanna River, Otter Creek Campground delivers those opportunities for relaxation...and so much more!
I've done my share of camping, folks, and this campground has become my favorite stop (it sure beats diggin' your own den) in York County or anywhere else! There's plenty to do, what with all the park activities, great fishin', hikin' and boatin' available. If outdoor sports is your thing, you'll enjoy games of volleyball, basketball, shuffleboard and horseshoes. If indoor recreation is what you like, there's ping pong and more in the game room. Plus, your little ones will have a ball at the playground!
Otter Creek Campground even makes camping chores a breeze! Keeping your campsite stocked is hassle-free thanks to the onsite camp store. Keeping your clothes looking their best is easy with their laundry facility. Hot showers and sparklin' restrooms are available!
Whether you travel by RV, just throw a tent in your car and drive, or float down the river on your back like I do, you'll enjoy the best in camping facilities, amenities and prices. Pets are welcome to join in the fun, so long as the owner is well-trained!
When you're ready to venture out and explore, your family will have plenty to see and do. A public boat launch a quarter mile down the road will put you on the water for fishing, boating and water-skiing thrills. I like exploring the local history at the Indian Steps Museum, just minutes from the campground. Lancaster County's Pennsylvania Dutch attractions never fail to entertain. "Hog" lovers will love a tour of the York Harley-Davidson factory. The whole family will have fun and satisfy their sweet tooth at the same time at Hershey Park.
Wayne and Lori Heiland, the camp directors, sure are a nice couple. They take the time to make sure their guests have a wonderful camping experience. Join them, and me, for the finest in family camping, here at Otter Creek Campground!
Breakfast on Sunday mornings from 9:00 am - 10:30 am.
See you soon, Otter B. Goode
